Luis Daniel López Murillo, PhD

Dr. Daniel López is an accomplished medical doctor with a PhD in Pharmacological Sciences from the Universidad de Guadalajara. Currently, Dr. López is a full-time researcher and professor at Universidad del Valle de México – and a professor at the University Center for Health Sciences at the Universidad de Guadalajara.

His research interests include pharmacology, research peptides, metabolic syndrome, and pharmacovigilance – with a focus on phytopharmaceuticals.

Dr. López is a distinguished member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) in Mexico, recognizing their exceptional research contributions in the field of phytopharmaceuticals.

Dr. López’s research on phytopharmaceuticals, including extracts from plants such as Lagestroemia speciosa, curcuma, Mormodica charantia, has been published in internationally recognized journals with high impact factors. As the first author, they have published one article and two as a co-author.
